Often the material requiring cutting is too hard for the forces used on the Series 3000 machines.  The 5237 was designed and manufactured to handle the hardest of materials.  The wire tension, when the 0.5mm wire is used, can be loaded to as much as 15 pounds which allows the ability to load the force of the wire into the part to its maximum level.  This combination of forces will lessen the cutting time for hard materials such as aluminum oxide and silicon carbide.
